Take Me As I Am

Take Me As I Am

I am me and you are you, this is the way we are it's true. You can't change me nor I you, and I wouldn't think we'd want too.

We were this way the day we wed, and we'll be this way until the day we're dead.

We're totally opposite everyone knows it's true, but we could learn from one another should we want too.

We could bend a little without changing a lot, and thank God each day for what we've got.

So let's love one another, and praise each other, and we'll be happier by far, for loving a person is accepting that person just the way they are.
